Using all this packages: wpad kmod-scsi-core kmod-usb-storage kmod-crypto-hash kmod-lib-crc16 block-mount kmod-rtlcu kmod-rtlc-common kmod-rtlwifi kmod-rtlwifi-usb. Is there something I can do to fix this and be able to use the usb card as another third in this case radio?

After scan in luci the router hang and need reboot. This is the dmesg log:. DG AN [ 0. Total pag es: [ 0.

package: kmod-rtl8192cu

The kernel modules get loaded, the phy show's up, but the led on the dongle does not light up and I start a scan in luci or via iw scan the router hangs. The log looks similar to the one in comment Installing kmod-usb2, kmod-usb-ochi and kmod-usb-uhci does not seem to help. The device works fine on arch-linux. Please use trunk or build your own version of OpenWrt CC which already has more recent drivers for this device fixing some of the Big endian problems.

If this problem still exists with trunk please reopen this ticket or talk directly to Larry Finger the upstream maintainer of rtlcu. E-mail address and user name can be saved in the Preferences.

I found the problem was solved about 2 years ago, but i was found again on trunk r I checked and tried all the patches of the problem, but it was still alive. E-mail address and user name can be saved in the Preferences. Powered by Trac 1.

Barrier Breaker Opened 3 years ago. Last modified 19 months ago. I install with opkg: kmod-rtlc-common - 3. Replying to andrkuli76 … :. I have exactly the same problem. Barrier Breaker Replying to ScimitarTech :. So that it worked it is necessary to wait for updating of kernel to 3. I tried with kernel 3. I won't even let me scan and it does't show up in "iw list". Same problem with kernel 3. It doesn't look a kernel problem because changing the kernel does't solve the problem. However, when using compat-wireless, it's the same problem of not authenticating, it does't matter what version kernel or openwrt either.

Same here, kernel does't change anything. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to fix it.

Replying to anonymous :. No, I didn't. Tried only BB Should it work? Seems too old to work.

How to create an accesspoint using a RealTek 8192cu Usb Wifi Dongle

If there is any chance it would work, I am willing to try. Did it or any other version ever worked with the rtlcu for someone? If the answer is yes, how? After compiling it, tried Attitude Adjustment with kernel 3. Recognized, but as before, recognized and scan works, but Still not authenticating Final conclusion: kernel is not the problem.

Best solution will be to port the Realtek driver not the Compat-Wireless version. This version works best. Meanwhile, the Realtek driver can be compiled and insmod the cu. But it has other problems I compiled and insmod cu. The interface down and LED of usb adpater off What kernel version and Driver version did you use? It has the same problem kernel panic with Attitude Adjustment and Realtek driver version v3. Patches from the HeaterMeter project won't solve the problem. Maybe it works on newer versionsOpened 3 years ago.

Last modified 3 years ago. There are a few different situations that make the driver not entirely reliable. When they loose connection the wifi on the client appears connected still but not traffic will flow.

Other clients HP cromebook stays connected and passes traffic even while the other client is having problems connecting. The problem client is unable to reconnect till the AP is rebooted. The problem client is a compaq running Ubuntu 14 LTS. Running wifi for years on other access points with no issues. Another problem client is a HP office jet wifi printer- same behaviour as the compaq laptop. This is a visio 24" smart TV. Though that same device was able to connect and worked fine when the access point was using the ath9k based usb wifi dongle and same wireless mode and security settings.

Reason for using this adapter is that it appears from the openwrt wiki documents it should allow up to 25 clients. As the ath9k based usb card only allows max of 7. While researching this issue I've come across other people having problems with the seemingly older rtlcu driver. Below is the relevant wifi settings. If there are specific wireless settings that fix this issue that would be great. I interested in most flexability for various clients to connect to a stable connection vs best possible wifi speed.

Since this is an ongoing linux kernel driver issue not likely to be solved here, would this driver from realtek be compatible with the hostapd running on openwrt? Realtek has an GPL open source driver, several have used to compile on raspbian. Here is a recent git source that appears to be setup to suport compiling on the raspberry. I'd be interested in setting this up on openwrt as a package if someone could tell me if it will be compatible mac I've build Make files for other packages so will be willing to give it a go for a kernel module.

After looking at some more wireshark output, the problem seems to be that the aggregation sessions deadlock when a second one starts before the first one completes. That would explain why it only occurs in HT mode. If I disable aggregation in the driver with the attached patch, the problem goes away with a performance loss. So with our HT mode its really just I wonder if this HT deadlock happens in AP mode only or client mode too.

I wonder how much work this would take to fix properly. E-mail address and user name can be saved in the Preferences. Powered by Trac 1. This are archived contents of the former dev. The pages are provided for historical reference only. Opened 3 years ago Last modified 3 years ago. Attachments 0.

Since we never supported this particular hardware it is not a regression either. Feel free to ask for support of this driver on the development mailing list. Barrier Breaker It wouldn't take as long to get a customer service rep If they didn't have to read a script. A simple 2 minute call takes 20 minutes. Send the customer rep hung up on me. It has not been 5 weeks since I ordered and every time I call someone from India comes on the line. It takes on average an hour to get through all the correspondence with them because of lack of English and understanding.

The last time he just left and put in his log that I cancelled the order. Helpful 4 people found this review helpful Stephanie of Spring, TX Verified Reviewer Original review: Dec. I've had the runaround.

Our bill was not due nor late. Our DIRECTV was disconnected. Finally after 3 hours I get someone to reconnect our DIRECTV. These two companies have continually price gouged us and I constantly have to fight over bill hikes. I would highly discourage anyone from getting these services. Customer service is the worst. Helpful 4 people found this review helpful Ken of Yorba Linda, CA Verified Reviewer Original review: Dec. We do this 2-3 times per year, it is 30 minutes on the phone and sometimes no success. Today they passed me of to 3 different people. Each one made an attempt to switch my local channel service on one location to another.

Someone in the process screwed up my account now they have to get engineering involved. I did give each representative my cell so they can communicate updates via text or call. I don't want them past the 90 days, so I called to cancel early and was told that I can't cancel early. How does that work. Call the next day after I have been charged. The range of successive instances to build the models of the ensemble. It doesn't apply to boosted trees.

Example: 16 tags optional Array of Strings A list of strings that help classify and retrieve the ensemble. If you do not specify a range of instances, the complete set of instances in the dataset will be used. If you do not specify any input fields, all the preferred input fields in the dataset will be included, and if you do not specify an objective field, the last field in your dataset will be considered the objective field.

Note that when gradient boosting option is applied to classification models, the actual number of models created will be a product of the number of classes (categories) and the iterations.

For example, if you set boosting iterations to 12 and the number of classes is 3, then the number of models created will be 36 or less depending on whether an early stopping strategy is used or not. Individual trees in the boosted trees differ from trees in bagged or random forest ensembles.

Primarily the difference is that boosted trees do not try to predict the objective field directly. Instead, they try to fit a gradient (correcting for mistakes made in previous iterations), and this will be stored under a new field, named gradient. This means the predictions from boosted trees cannot be combined with using the regular ensemble combiners.

Instead, boosted trees use their own combiner that relies on a few new parameters included with individual boosted trees. These new parameters will be contained in the boosting attribute in each boosted tree, which may contain the following properties.

These are sums of the first and second order gradients, and are needed for generating predictions when encountering missing data and using the proportional strategy. For regression problems, a prediction is generated by finding the prediction from each individual tree and doing a weighted sum using each tree's weight.

Once an ensemble has been successfully created it will have the following properties. Creating a ensemble is a process that can take just a few seconds or a few days depending on the size of the dataset used as input, the number of models, and on the workload of BigML's systems. The ensemble goes through a number of states until its fully completed.

Through the status field in the ensemble you can determine when the ensemble has been fully processed and ready to be used to create predictions. Once you delete an ensemble, it is permanently deleted. If you try to delete an ensemble a second time, or an ensemble that does not exist, you will receive a "404 not found" response.

However, if you try to delete an ensemble that is being used at the moment, then BigML.
